The homage to traditional country music is now available on various international music streaming services.
It doesn't happen very often that new country songs see the light of day in Finland, which is why today’s single release is a little milestone: The five-member band Dark Ride Brothers releases their digital single named “One More Time”.
The song was written by Vesa Winberg and recorded and mixed in February at Teemu Aalto Music Productions. Teemu is working as producer for, among others, Omnium Gatherum (who reached #2 on the official Finnish album charts last week) and Insomnium, an internationally rapidly growing band.
Dark Ride Brothers wanted the best possible sound for their single, which was therefore mastered by Svante Forsbäck (Chartmakers). Other artists working with Chartmakers include, for example, Sunrise Avenue, Volbeat and Rammstein.
Honoring traditional elements
”One More Time” is a melancholic, rough country song, whose sound is mainly influenced by acousticness. In addition to the core band, the single features a number of guest appearances including Rami Hakala (dobro and pedal steel guitar) and Timo Karvonen (drums).
The brand new song will be premiered in today’s Country Club program on the popular Finnish radio channel Järviradio, along with a Dark Ride Brothers interview. ”One More Time” is available on various international music streaming services including Spotify, YouTube, iTunes, Deezer,... .
