On Saturday, we had the fantastic opportunity to play a few songs for a delegation from Germany, which is currently visiting Imatra. We presented our musical greetings to the football team SC Gitter and the mayor of our German sister city Salzgitter, Frank Klingebiel, during their sauna evening. The mayor of Imatra, Pertti Lintunen, had invited them to "Imatran Hossukka".
We had the chance to drop by and play a few songs for the soccer enthusiasts – and these guys sure were having a ball! By the time we had arrived at the last chorus of "Falling in Love", everyone was already singing along (the people from Lappeenranta were probably wondering what was going on). A great evening, amazing people and a very warm atmosphere. And the best thing about it: in August, we will meet them again, this time on a slightly larger stage – on the CityFest in Salzgitter 🤠!
