“This one is for the Brave Ones
For the Ones who Fell
All United Under this Old SkyNow we Stand Together
But Divided we Fall
These are the Days of Glory
For you and me”
The new Dark Ride Brothers song “Days Of Glory” instills faith in a better tomorrow and salutes anyone who has been struggling with the fallout of the corona crisis.
Just as all previous DRB songs, “Days Of Glory” was recorded at Teemu Aalto’s studio in Karhula. The song is the band’s own production and was musically influenced by various artists, e.g. Tom Petty.
Dark Ride Brothers have been making music since 2014 and their songs have been streamed more than half a million times across different streaming services. In addition to Finland, the band has toured Germany, Italy and Switzerland.
– Corona has been challenging people around the globe and we are experiencing exceptionally hard times. With our new song, we want to instill faith in a better future, say the band’s founding members Sven Langbein and Vesa Winberg.
The song also takes a stand on social media and the way things are discussed there.
– Sometimes it feels like we forgot how to treat each other. Instead of fighting one another and tearing things apart, we should instead focus on building again, songwriter Vesa Winberg says.
“Days Of Glory” is available on numerous digital music services (YouTube, Spotify, iTunes, Deezer,…).
⭐ More than anything else Dark Ride Brothers love to play live gigs. After a long pandemic-induced pause, the band could be seen on various occasions in fall 2021 and more gigs are coming up.
